Your data, your call.

DAKAEi.MA ("DAKAEi", "we", "us") is an AI assistant for Moroccan Darija, available on the web at app.dakaei.ma and on iOS / Android. This policy describes how we handle personal data across all of those surfaces.

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Account data. Email address, name (if provided), hashed password, and a one-time verification code when you sign up or reset your password. If you sign in with Google we also receive your Google account email and avatar.
• Usage data. Messages you send to the AI, prompts you generate (text, voice, image), feature usage counters (credits spent, models used), and approximate device / browser information.
• Payment data. If you buy Tourist Premium, we receive payment metadata from Stripe (transaction ID, amount, currency, status). We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly.
• Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) for debugging, abuse prevention, and security.

• To provide the AI features you ask for (chat, voice, image, translation).
• To deliver verification codes, receipts, and important account emails.
• To bill subscriptions, process refunds, and enforce plan limits.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and protect the service.
• To improve product quality — aggregated, never identifying individual users.

We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party advertising inside DAKAEi.MA.

DAKAEi.MA forwards your prompts to AI model providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, ElevenLabs, Fal) so they can generate a response. These providers process the prompt under their own terms and, where they offer it, with zero-retention enabled — meaning your inputs are not used to train their models. We do not send your email address or account identifiers alongside prompts.

Account data and chat history are stored on managed Postgres (Supabase, hosted in the EU). Generated images and audio are stored on object storage with short-lived access URLs. We use HTTPS everywhere, password hashing, and standard access controls. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever discover a breach that affects you, we'll notify you promptly.

You can, at any time:

• Access or export your account data.
• Correct your name or email from the account settings page.
• Delete your account, which permanently removes your chat history, generations, and personal data.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.

If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or another region with similar rights (GDPR, etc.), those rights apply here too. To exercise any of them, email us at contact@dakaei.com.

DAKAEi.MA is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

We're a Moroccan-focused product but our servers and providers operate worldwide. By using DAKAEi.MA you agree that your data may be processed in countries other than your own, under contracts that uphold equivalent privacy standards.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
